Spring Valley Village has a Civic Activities Board with a goal to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of our community. An active group of citizens meet regularly to discuss the park land areas in the City, due to the recent expansion of the Interstate 10 Freeway. Although Spring Valley Village is surrounded by the huge City of Houston, it is small enough so that our citizens can all know and recognize each other, our elected officials and the various leaders of our community. The Civic Activities Board also  sponsors annual events designed to give our citizens the opportunity to have fun and get better acquainted.
We are always looking for new ideas and volunteers to help our community. Please notify City Hall if you have suggestions, questions, or wish to volunteer, and someone will contact you. You can also sign up for e-mail notices from the City.
