About the Commission
The Planning and Zoning Commission consists of 7 citizen volunteers who review:
  • Proposed building construction
  • Proposed subdivision plans
  • Recommended changes to the Zoning Ordinance
  • Replats of existing subdivisions

Zoning Ordinance changes include:
  • Building construction requirements
  • Building set back lines
  • Changes in minimum lot sizes
  • Commercial and residential use requirements
  • Commercial parking ratio requirements
  • Ration of non-permeable improvement area to total lot area
  • Tree protection ordinances
